Local Action Plan

Every city in the ASToN network will develop a Local Action Plan over the course of Phase 2. This is a key part of the URBACT method and we will draw heavily on the guidance and experience provided by the project and of previous networks.

The aim is for cities to develop an action-oriented implementation plan, producing the plan in a way that is integrated and co-produced by the Local Group.

By the end of the project cities will have tested key elements of the plan to ensure it will have maximum impact when implemented in full. Done well, the experiment generates early-stage evidence of what may work and how, and feeds into this plan.

The plan also serves as a useful tool for aligning stakeholders and partners around the common objectives. It is not a rigid plan, rather a set of objectives, resources and risks to test against some set hypotheses.
