Network activities
Each quarter will begin with network activities for all ASToN cities. These are an opportunity to share important information and explore key learning areas together that will support local activities in the three months to come.
The exact nature of the activities will vary depending on what is needed that quarter, it might be a network event, an open call or sharing resources online.
At key moments in the project, the network will come together for a network event. These will be hosted by a volunteer city and facilitated by the ASToN secretariat. Each event will include interactive activities, using approaches and techniques of practical learning to ensure engagement and understanding of the information and tools provided.
Throughout these events, we will take time to shine a spotlight on the skills & experiences in the network that complement the learning areas and activities of the quarter.
Informed by the needs we uncovered in the Baseline Study, tools and methods will be curated and created. Some are introduced from the URBACT method, others are specifically designed for this network and for digital transformation.
All information about the network-wide learning areas will be shared on Basecamp, this will include:
• ASToN Quarterly Guides
• Curated tools for use by cities
• Relevant resources to prompt discussion and debate
Note on COVID-19:
As the restrictions are lifted and the COVID-19 emergency changes, we will look to have some network-events in person.
